Vita Nova does not bill insurance. That is a deliberate decision, and it is the reason the program can work the way it does.
Full payment is required before arrival. Every program is all-inclusive, with no additional charges once you are here.
We would rather tell you this plainly on the first page than have you find out after a hopeful phone call.
Vita Nova is a private wellness residence and personal coaching program. Mac works with people one on one. Laura builds behavioral profiles and holds the atmosphere of the house. What happens here is real and it changes lives, but it is not a billable medical service, and describing it as one to secure coverage would be dishonest.
Some places will tell you they can “work with” your insurance and then quietly bill you the difference. We would rather be direct about the cost from the beginning so you can make a clear decision.
When insurance funds a stay, the carrier — not the person and not us — determines when it ends. Reviews happen on their timeline. People are routinely told they are finished on a date that has nothing to do with where they actually are.
Reimbursement rates only work at scale, which means more guests per staff member. The eight-guest ceiling that makes Vita Nova what it is would not survive that math.
Covered models favor group formats because they are cheaper per person. Four to five one-on-one days a week is precisely the thing insurance would reduce first.
Billing a carrier means submitting documentation about you into systems you do not control. Many people who come to Vita Nova specifically need this experience to stay private.
Your program price covers everything — transportation, private room, all meals, coaching, massage, DISC profile, security, and activities. Nothing is added later.
Payment is completed before your arrival date so that no part of your stay involves administration or billing conversations.
We can provide a paid-in-full receipt if you intend to submit your own out-of-network claim. We cannot guarantee any reimbursement.
Payment timing and structure are handled directly with Mac or Laura rather than through a billing department.
No. Vita Nova is entirely private pay and does not bill insurance. Because we are a private wellness residence and personal coaching program rather than a medical provider, insurance carriers do not cover what we do.
Insurance participation would require us to change the thing that makes Vita Nova work. Carriers dictate length of stay, require standardized documentation, and cap the number of individual hours a person can receive. Staying private pay lets Mac and Laura keep the eight-guest ceiling and the daily one-on-one time intact.
Some guests choose to submit their own claim to their carrier after their stay. We can provide a straightforward paid-in-full receipt for that purpose, but we cannot promise any reimbursement and we do not represent our program as a covered medical service.
Full payment is required before arrival. This is consistent across every program length.
No. Every program is all-inclusive — transportation, private room, all meals including the weekend chef, coaching sessions, massage, DISC profile, security, and activities. There are no incidental charges added during your stay.
Payment arrangements are discussed privately with Mac or Laura. Because circumstances vary considerably, these conversations happen directly rather than through a published policy.
Ask them directly on the first call. Mac and Laura would rather have a frank conversation about money than have anyone arrive uncertain.
